London Transport Museum’s pilot EHE day for KS1 children is coming!

The London Transport Museum are running an event for KS1 home educated children on 04.06.25. They are encouraging home educating families to join them for the activities, and to give their feedback on how the events are shaped in the future.

If you’d like to join them at the event or just have a chat about their plans for EHE families, please do get in touch. Feel free to share with your home education contacts.

4th June KS1 – Home Education Station!

Join us as we bring history to life by exploring the story of how London’s transport has changed over time. Try our brand-new learning session “The Marvellous Milk Train”, a play-based session has been especially designed for home educating families with storytelling, object handling and hands-on activities for mixed ages. Discover the fascinating story of the museum’s Metropolitan Railway Milk Van as we follow its journey transporting milk by Underground from the countryside into London during the Victorian era. Explore the Milk Train’s special design features and take part in a hands-on challenge to create and test your own magnetic-tile milk trains! Plus take part in our Platform Promenade sessions in the gallery as you venture into our time tunnel and discover how transport in London has changed since the 1800’s.
