The Barnet Safeguarding Children Partnership
The Barnet Safeguarding Children Partnership's (BSCP) aim is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in Barnet, and to achieve this we work collectively to improve safeguarding practice and respond to local issues. We welcome professionals, volunteers, parents, carers, and - most importantly - children and young people to our website. We hope the different sections help you to understand our work and provide useful information about local services and how to tackle abuse and neglect.
Barnet Early Help Services
Barnet Early Help Services provide help and support to children, young people and their families from before birth up to the age of 19 (or 25 if they have special educations needs or a disability). Early Help provides support to families facing challenges as soon as possible to tackle difficulties for children, young people and families before they become more serious. Early Help work with the whole family to build on strengths, placing children at the centre of everything they do. With parental consent, Early Help can involve other professionals that will work together with families.
